The simulators are equipped with a physical driving console and visual simulation system whose operating functions and performance are the same as those of real ships.
The simulators comply with the requirements of the Manila Amendment to the STCW Convention for marine radar training and the training requirements of IMO for Model Course 1.07 and 1.08 (Radar Training Syllabus). Equipped with a ship hydrodynamic mathematical model and a rudder operation software panel, each radar operation trainee terminal can conduct ship navigation and collision avoidance training based on radar control.
The simulators can help the crew get familiar with the basic operations and the waterway. In different simulated navigation environments, the trainees can use the ship's navigation equipment and rudder operation equipment to perform ship U-turn, berthing and anchoring, and other operations, so as to ensure the safe navigation of the ship in the water.
The GMDSS simulator training system complies with the certification requirements and related training and evaluation requirements stipulated in A-IV/2 of the STCW Convention and its amendments. The system can meet the competence standards of GMDSS operators and the training requirements for marine distress, emergency, safety and search and rescue knowledge.
